Abstract:
(EN) The present invention relates to a membrane electrode arrangement (1) comprising - a gas-tight, selectively proton-conducting membrane (3), which has a retentate side (5) comprising an anode (7), and a permeate side (9) with a cathode (11), - a voltage source (13) for generating a potential difference between the anode (7) and the cathode (11), - an anode catalyst (15), which has a catalytically active material, on the retentate side (5) and - a cathode catalyst (17), which has a catalytically active material, on the permeate side (9), wherein the cathode catalyst (17) has less catalytically active material than the anode catalyst (15). Furthermore, the present invention relates to a reactor comprising the membrane electrode arrangement (1) and to a method for separating hydrogen by using the membrane electrode arrangement (1).
(FR) La présente invention concerne un ensemble d'électrode à membrane (1) qui comprend : - une membrane sélectivement conductrice de protons étanche aux gaz (3) qui comporte un côté rétentat (5) pourvu d’une anode (7) et un côté perméat (9) pourvu d’une cathode (11), - une source de tension (13) destinée à générer une différence de potentiel entre l'anode (7) et la cathode (11), - un catalyseur d'anode (15) qui comporte un matériau catalytiquement actif du côté rétentat ( 5), et - un catalyseur de cathode (17) qui comporte un matériau catalytiquement actif du côté perméat (9) ; le catalyseur de cathode (17) comporte un matériau catalytiquement moins actif que le catalyseur d'anode (15). La présente invention concerne un réacteur qui comporte l'ensemble d'électrode à membrane (1) et un procédé de séparation de l'hydrogène au moyen de l'ensemble d'électrodes à membrane (1).
(DE) Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Membran-Elektroden-Anordnung (1) umfassend - eine gasdichte, selektiv protonenleitende Membran (3), die eine Retentat-Seite (5) mit einer Anode (7) und eine Permeat-Seite (9) mit einer Kathode (11) aufweist, - eine Spannungsquelle (13) zur Erzeugung einer Potentialdifferenz zwischen der Anode (7) und der Kathode (11), - einen Anoden-Katalysator (15), der ein katalytisch aktives Material aufweist, auf der Retentat-Seite (5) und - einen Kathoden-Katalysator (17), der ein katalytisch aktives Material aufweist, auf der Permeat-Seite (9), wobei der Kathoden-Katalysator (17) weniger katalytisch aktives Material aufweist als der Anoden-Katalysator (15). Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich ferner auf einen Reaktor umfassend die Membran-Elektroden-Anordnung (1 ) und auf ein Verfahren zur Abtrennung von Wasserstoff unter Verwendung der Membran-Elektroden-Anordnung (1).
