Abstract
(EN) The present invention relates to a composite article comprising at least two layers (A) of component a) and at least one layer (B1) of component b). The respective layers (A) and (B1) are alternately linked together. The component a) has a compressive modulus of at least 10 MPa and can, therefore, be considered as a comparably rigid component, which can be also assigned as rigid core element, in contrast thereto the component b) has a compression stress value at a compression of 40 % of not more than 20 kPa. By consequence, component b) can be considered as a comparably flexible (elastic) component. Therefore, the composite articles according to the present invention can be considered as semi-flexible materials due to the combination of alternating rigid and flexible segments (layers) within those composite articles. The composite articles according to the present invention may further comprise at least one layer (B2) of component b), which layer is also alternately linked together with the respective layers (A). In addition, at least one layer (B2) crosses at least one layer (B1) with an angle a in the range of 0° < α < 180°, wherein both layers (B1) and (B2) are made of component b). The present invention further relates to a method for producing those composite articles as well as to the use of those composite articles in composite applications, for example, wind rotor blades or boat hulls or insulation applications, for example for curved walls or roofs or between rafters.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un article composite comprenant au moins deux couches (A) de composant a) et au moins une couche (B1) de composant b). Les couches respectives (A) et (B1) sont reliées en alternance les unes aux autres. Le composant a) possède un module de compression d'au moins 10 MPa et peut, pour cette raison, être considéré comme étant un composant relativement rigide, qui peut également être affecté en tant qu'élément d'âme rigide; en revanche, le composant b) possède une valeur de contrainte de compression à une compression de 40 % ne dépassant pas 20 kPa. Par conséquent, le composant b) peut être considéré comme étant un composant relativement souple (élastique). Pour cette raison, les articles composites selon la présente invention peuvent être considérés comme étant des matériaux semi-souples du fait de la combinaison de segments (couches) rigides et souples alternés au sein de ces articles composites. Les articles composites selon la présente invention peuvent comprendre en outre au moins une couche (B2) de composant b), laquelle couche est également reliée conjointement en alternance aux couches respectives (A). De plus, au moins une couche (B2) croise au moins une couche (B1) avec un angle a dans la plage de 0° < α < 180°, l'une et l'autre des couches (B1) et (B2) étant constituées du composant b). La présente invention concerne en outre un procédé de production de ces articles composites ainsi que l'utilisation de ces articles composites dans des applications de composite, par exemple, des pales d'éolienne ou des coques de bateau ou des applications d'isolation, par exemple, pour des parois courbées ou des toits ou entre des chevrons.
