Es werden ein Sensorelement (10) eines induktiven Näherungssensors oder Abstandssensors (12), das eine Spulenanordnung (26) mit wenigstens einer Erregerspule (T, C) und wenigstens einer Empfangsspule (R+, R-) enthält, und mit einer elektrisch leitfähigen Abschirmung, die einen Abschirmbecher (24) enthält, der die Spulenanordnung (26) seitlich und auf der hinteren Seite umgibt, sowie ein Verfahren zum Betreiben des Sensorelements (10) vorgeschlagen. Das erfindungsgemäße Sensorelement (10) zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass die Abschirmung weiterhin einen Flansch (22) enthält, der auf der vorderen Seite des Sensorelements (10) vorgesehen ist, der mit dem Abschirmbecher (24) elektrisch leitend verbunden ist und der die Spulenanordnung (26) vollständig umschließt.

The invention relates to a sensor element (10) of an inductive proximity sensor or distance sensor (12), said element containing a coil arrangement (26) with at least one excitation coil (T, C) and at least one receiving coil (R+, R-) and comprising an electrically conductive shielding which contains a shielding cup (24) that surrounds the coil arrangement (26) laterally and on the rear face. The invention also relates to a method for operating the sensor element (10). The sensor element (10) according to the invention is characterized in that the shielding further contains a flange (22) which is provided on the front face of the sensor element (10), is connected to the shielding cup (24) in an electrically conductive manner, and completely surrounds the coil arrangement (26).

L’invention concerne un élément de détection (10) d'un capteur de proximité inductif ou d’un capteur de distance (12), lequel élément contient un ensemble de bobines (26) pourvu d’une ou de plusieurs bobines d'excitation (T, C) et d’une ou de plusieurs bobines de réception (R+, R-), et un blindage électriquement conducteur qui contient un boîtier de blindage (24) qui entoure l’ensemble de bobines (26) latéralement et du côté arrière. L’invention concerne également un procédé pour faire fonctionner l'élément de détection (10). L'élément de capteur (10) de l'invention est caractérisé en ce que le blindage comprend en outre une bride (22) qui est prévue du côté avant de l'élément de capteur (10), qui est reliée électriquement au boîtier de blindage (24) et qui entoure complètement l’ensemble de bobines (26).
