Provided are a survey information marking device and a survey information marking method with which a target location can be easily and appropriately ascertained. This survey information marking device (50) is provided with: a distance image sensor (55) for acquiring distance image information (62) within a prescribed range; a projection unit (56) for projecting an image onto a projection surface (13); a slope information acquisition unit (54) for acquiring slope information (61) about a detection optical axis (55a) and a projection optical axis (56a) with respect to the vertical direction; location information acquisition units (12, 57) for acquiring coordinate information (71) about a current location (75) and a target location (72); and a terminal-side controller (52) for generating a target information image (77) pertaining to the target location as seen from the current location, on the basis of the coordinate information. On the basis of the distance image information (62) acquired by the distance image sensor (55) and the slope information (61) acquired by the slope information acquisition unit, the terminal-side controller (52) corrects the target information image (77) in conformance with the shape of the projection surface (33), and causes the projection unit (56) to project the corrected target information image (77).
