A digital signal synthesizer for generating a frequency and/or phase modified digital signal output comprises an input buffer, a transform module, a processing module, and an output buffer. The input buffer receives a digital input that is represented in a frequency domain representation. The transform module stores a fractional order control system that models a desired frequency and/or phase response defined by an assembly of at least one filter component. Each filter component is defined by a Laplace function that is modified to include a non-integer control order having a variable fractional scaling exponent. The processing module multiplies or divides the digital input with the fractional order control system stored in the transform module. Moreover, the output buffer stores a synthesized output of the input, which is modified in the frequency domain, the phase domain, or both according to the desired frequency and/or phase response by the processing module.

L'invention concerne un synthétiseur de signal numérique destiné à générer un signal de sortie numérique modifié en fréquence et/ou en phase, comprenant une mémoire tampon d'entrée, un module de transformation, un module de traitement et une mémoire tampon de sortie. La mémoire tampon d'entrée reçoit une entrée numérique qui est représentée dans une représentation du domaine fréquentiel. Le module de transformation stocke un système de commande d'ordre fractionnaire qui modélise une réponse en fréquence et/ou en phase souhaitée définie par un ensemble d'au moins un composant de filtrage. Chaque composant de filtrage est défini par une fonction de Laplace qui est modifiée pour inclure un ordre de commande non entier ayant un exposant de pondération fractionnaire variable. Le module de traitement multiplie ou divise l'entrée numérique avec le système de commande d'ordre fractionnaire stocké dans le module de transformation. De plus, la mémoire tampon de sortie stocke une sortie synthétisée de l'entrée, qui est modifiée dans le domaine fréquentiel, le domaine de phase, ou les deux, suivant la réponse en fréquence et/ou en phase souhaitée par le module de traitement.
