Provided are an adhesive composition that has excellent adhesive force, cohesive force, tack, and holding strength and an adhesive article that uses the adhesive composition. The adhesive composition contains: (i) an acrylic block copolymer (I) that includes at least one polymer block (A) comprising a methacrylic acid ester unit and at least one polymer block (B) comprising an acrylic acid ester unit, that has a weight-average molecular weight of 30,000-300,000, and in which 80 mass% or more of the acrylic acid ester unit that constitutes the polymer block (B) is the acrylic acid ester (1) unit represented by formula (1), namely, CH2=CH-COOR2 (in the formula, R2 represents an organic group having 7-12 carbon atoms); and, relative to 100 parts by mass of the acrylic block copolymer (I), (ii) 1-300 parts by mass of a tackifier resin and (iii) 1-200 parts by mass of at least one plasticizer selected from among process oils, organic acid esters, and oligomers thereof.

Cette composition d'adhésif pour (i) 100 parties en masse d'un copolymère séquencé acrylique (I) qui possède au moins une séquence polymère (A) constituée d'une unité ester d'acide méthacrylique, et au moins une séquence polymère (B) constituée d'une unité ester d'acide acrylique, dont la masse moléculaire moyenne en poids est comprise entre 30000 et 300000, et dans lequel 80% en masse ou plus de l'unité ester d'acide acrylique configurant ladite séquence polymère (B), sont constitués d'une unité ester d'acide acrylique (1) représentée par la formule générale (1) CH2=CH-COOR2 (dans la formule, R2 représente un groupe organique de 7 à 12 atomes de carbone), comprend (ii) 1 à 300 parties en masse d'une résine conférant une adhésion, et (iii) 1 à 200 parties en masse d'une huile de traitement ainsi que d'au moins une sorte de plastifiant choisie parmi un ester d'acide organique et un oligomère de celui-ci.
