A battery using a flexible outer casing, wherein electric current is reliably interrupted when the temperature is increased due to the occurrence of abnormality, thereby preventing excessive heat generation. A battery 1 comprises: a battery element 10; a pair of first terminals 11 that are electrically connected to the battery element 10; a flexible outer casing 13; and a second terminal 12. The outer casing 13 is divided into a first chamber 13a in which the battery element 10 is sealed and a second chamber 13b which is adjacent to the first chamber 13a. The second terminal 12 is led out from the second chamber 13b to the outside of the outer casing 13 so that one first terminal 11 is able to be electrically connected to an external wiring line through the second chamber 13b. A gas generation material 14 which generates a gas at a temperature that is not less than a predetermined temperature is sealed in the second chamber 13b.

L'invention concerne une batterie utilisant un boîtier extérieur souple, dans laquelle un courant électrique est interrompu avec fiabilité lorsque la température s'élève en raison de l'apparition d'une anomalie, ce qui permet de prévenir une génération de chaleur excessive. La batterie (1) comprend : un élément de batterie (10); une paire de premières bornes (11) qui sont électriquement connectées à l'élément de batterie (10); un boîtier extérieur souple (13); et une seconde borne (12). Le boîtier extérieur (13) est divisé en une première chambre (13a) dans laquelle l'élément de batterie (10) est enfermé hermétiquement et une seconde chambre (13b) qui est adjacente à la première chambre (13a). La seconde borne (12) conduit de la seconde chambre (13b) à l'extérieur du boîtier extérieur (13) de manière qu'une première borne (11) puisse être électriquement connectée à une ligne de câblage externe par l'intermédiaire de la seconde chambre (13b). Un matériau de génération de gaz (14) qui génère un gaz à une température qui n'est pas inférieure à une température prédéterminée est enfermé hermétiquement dans la seconde chambre (13b).
