During the driving of a vehicle, a driver monitoring apparatus (50), functioning as one portion of an in-vehicle control apparatus (90) determines on the basis of driver monitoring information whether the driver is in an incapacitated state in which the driver is unable to operate the vehicle, and when it is determined that the driver is in the incapacitated state, the driver monitoring apparatus activates the hazard lights (95) to implement a vehicle-exterior warning. Furthermore, after the vehicle-exterior warning has begun and the warning is stopped by an operation on the part of the driver, the driver monitoring apparatus issues a command so as not to execute a danger avoidance process, and when the warning has not been stopped, the driver monitoring apparatus issues a command so as to execute the danger avoidance process after a prescribed time has elapsed from the start of the warning.

Pendant la conduite d'un véhicule, un appareil de surveillance de conducteur (50), fonctionnant comme une partie d'un appareil de commande embarqué (90) détermine sur la base d'informations de surveillance de conducteur si le conducteur est dans un état d'incapacité dans lequel le conducteur ne peut pas faire fonctionner le véhicule, et lorsqu'il est déterminé que le conducteur est dans l'état d'incapacité, l'appareil de surveillance de conducteur active les feux de détresse (95) pour mettre en œuvre un avertissement extérieur au véhicule.  車載制御装置(In-vehicle Control Apparatus)(50、90)の一部として機能するドライバ監視装置(Driver Monitoring Apparatus)(50)は、車両の走行中において、ドライバ監視情報に基づいてドライバが車両運転が不能な運転不能状態になったか否かを判定し、ドライバが運転不能状態になったと判定された場合に、ハザードランプ(95)の駆動による車外警報の実施を指令する。また、ドライバ監視装置は、ハザードランプによる車外警報の開始後において、ドライバの操作により警報が停止された場合に危険回避処理を実施せず、警報が停止されない場合に警報の開始から所定時間の経過後に危険回避処理を実施する旨を指令する。
