A crank shaft (1) of an in-line four-cylinder internal combustion engine has five journal sections (2), and the journal sections (2) are each supported by No.1 to No.5 main bearing units (6). Each of the main bearing units (6) is configured from a cylinder block side bearing unit (7) and a bearing cap (8). The No.1, No.2, No.4, and No.5 main bearing units (6) employ an iron-based bearing cap (8A), and the No.3 main bearing unit (6) at the center employs a bearing cap (8B) made of an aluminum alloy having a relatively high thermal expansion coefficient. At high temperatures, the bearing clearance of the No.3 main bearing unit (6) is expanded so as to reduce bearing load.

L'invention porte sur un vilebrequin (1) d'un moteur à combustion interne à quatre cylindres en ligne, lequel vilebrequin a cinq sections de tourillon (2), et les sections de tourillon (2) sont chacune soutenues par des unités de palier principales N° 1 à N° 5 (6). Chacune des unités de palier principales (6) est formée d'une unité de palier côté bloc-cylindres (7) et d'un capuchon de palier (8). Les unités de palier principales N° 1, N° 2, N° 4 et N° 5 (6) emploient un capuchon de palier à base de fer (8A), et l'unité de palier principale N° 3 (6) au centre utilise un capuchon de palier (8B) réalisé en un alliage d'aluminium ayant un coefficient de dilatation thermique relativement élevé. A des températures élevées, l'espacement de palier de l'unité de palier principale N° 3 (6) est étendu, de façon à réduire la charge de palier.

 直列4気筒内燃機関のクランクシャフト(1)は、5つのジャーナル部(2)を有し、♯1~♯5主軸受部(6)によってジャーナル部(2)が各々支持される。各主軸受部(6)は、シリンダブロック側軸受部(7)とベアリングキャップ(8)とで構成される。♯1,♯2,♯4,♯5主軸受部(6)には、鉄系のベアリングキャップ(8A)が用いられ、中央の♯3主軸受部(6)には、相対的に熱膨張率が高いアルミニウム合金製のベアリングキャップ(8B)が用いられる。高温時には、♯3主軸受部(6)の軸受クリアランスが拡大し、軸受荷重が抑制される。
