The invention provides a lighting device comprising a light source configured to provide light source light having a blue light component and a light converter configured to convert at least part of the light source light into converter light, wherein the light converter comprises a polymeric matrix (22) with a luminescent material, wherein the luminescent material comprises a luminescent molecule (300) comprising a first group (310) able to absorb at least part of the blue light component, and a second group (320) able to emit luminescent molecule light having a red light component, wherein the first group (310) is configured to transfer at least part of the energy acquired by the absorption of said blue light component to the second group (320) for generation of said luminescent molecule light having a red light component.

L'invention concerne un dispositif d'éclairage comprenant une source de lumière conçue pour fournir une lumière de source de lumière ayant une composante de lumière bleue et un convertisseur de lumière conçu pour convertir au moins une partie de la lumière de la source de lumière en lumière de convertisseur. Le convertisseur de lumière comprend une matrice polymère (22) ayant un matériau luminescent, le matériau luminescent comportant une molécule luminescente (300) comprenant un premier groupe (310) apte à absorber au moins une partie de la composante de lumière bleue, et un second groupe (320) apte à émettre une lumière de molécule luminescente ayant une composante de lumière rouge, le premier groupe (310) étant conçu pour transférer au moins une partie de l'énergie acquise par l'absorption de ladite composante de lumière bleue au second groupe (320) pour la génération de ladite lumière de molécule luminescente ayant une composante de lumière rouge.
