Puck and collar alignment device embodiments facilitate simultaneous insertion of free end portions of screw shafts into open end portions of complementary drive couplings. The embodiments have alignment keys that correct deviations in alignment and rotation introduced while moving the screw shafts though a barrel of an extruder. Tapered front faces of the alignment keys incrementally adjust coaxial alignment, and tapered side faces of the alignment keys incrementally adjust rotational position cooperatively between the alignment devices and drive couplings. The coaxial and rotational position adjustments cooperate to simultaneously guide multiple alignment keys to fit within corresponding keyway sections while providing alignment of external splines on the screw shafts to interlock in a timed relationship with internal splines on the drive couplings during the simultaneous insertion.

Des modes de réalisation de dispositif d'alignement de galet-presseur et de collet facilitent l'introduction simultanée de parties d'extrémité libre d'arbres de vis dans des parties d'extrémité ouverte d'accouplements d'entraînement complémentaires. Les modes de réalisation font appel à des clavettes d'alignement qui corrigent des écarts d'alignement et de rotation introduits lors du déplacement des arbres de vis à travers un cylindre d'une extrudeuse. Des faces avant coniques des clavettes d'alignement ajustent de manière progressive l'alignement coaxial, et des faces latérales coniques des clavettes d'alignement ajustent de manière progressive la position de rotation de manière coopérative entre les dispositifs d'alignement et les accouplements d'entraînement. Les ajustements de position coaxiale et de rotation coopèrent afin de guider simultanément plusieurs clavettes d'alignement en vue d'un ajustement à l'intérieur de sections de rainure de clavette correspondantes tout en assurant l'alignement de cannelures extérieures des arbres de vis de sorte à s'interverrouiller de manière synchronisée avec des cannelures intérieures sur les accouplements d'entraînement lors de l'introduction simultanée.
