The objective of the present invention is to provide a video data processing method and/or device for reproducing a display-adaptive image. The video data processing method, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises the steps of: transmitting, to a source device through an interface, extended display identification data (EDID) information indicating the performance of a synchronization device, wherein the EDID information includes electro optical transfer function (EOTF) type information identifying an EOTF supported by the synchronization device; receiving video data from the source device through the interface; and reproducing the received video data.

La présente invention a pour but de proposer un procédé et/ou un dispositif de traitement de données vidéo pour reproduire une image à affichage adaptatif. Le procédé de traitement de données vidéo, selon un mode de réalisation de la présente invention, comprend les étapes consistant : à transmettre, à un dispositif source par l’intermédiaire d’une interface, des informations de données d’identification d’affichage étendues (EDID) indiquant les performances d’un dispositif de synchronisation, les informations EDID comprenant des informations de type de fonction de transfert électro-optique (EOTF) identifiant une EOTF prise en charge par le dispositif de synchronisation ; à recevoir des données vidéo provenant du dispositif source par l’intermédiaire de l’interface ; et à reproduire les données vidéo reçues.

본 발명은 디스플레이 적응적 영상 재생을 위한 비디오 데이터 처리 방법 및/또는 장치의 제공에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 비디오 데이터 처리 방법은 싱크 디바이스의 성능을 나타내는 EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) 정보를 인터페이스를 통해 소스 디바이스로 전송하는 단계, 여기서, 상기 EDID 정보는 상기 싱크 디바이스에 의해 지원되는 EOTF (Electro Optical Transfer Function)를 식별하는 EOTF 타입 정보를 포함하고, 상기 인터페이스를 통해 소스 디바이스로부터 비디오 데이터를 수신하는 단계 및 상기 수신한 비디오 데이터를 재생하는 단계를 포함한다.
