A base station (110) uses an antenna group (112) arranged two-dimensionally in the horizontal direction and the vertical direction, to transmit data signals weighted for each antenna, and uses a plurality of first antennae (113) aligned in the horizontal direction to transmit first reference signals which are unique to mobile stations (120), and which have been weighted so as to correspond to the data signals. The base station (110) uses a plurality of second antennae (114) aligned in the vertical direction in a position corresponding to one of the plurality of first antennae (113), to transmit, without performing weighting for each antenna, a second reference signal common to each of the mobile stations (120). The base station (110) transmits weight information indicating the weight of the data signal of each of the antennae aligned in the vertical direction. The mobile stations (120) demodulate, on the basis of the first reference signals, the second reference signal, and the weight information transmitted by the base station (110), the data signals transmitted by the base station (110).

Selon l’invention, une station de base (110) utilise un groupe d’antennes (112) agencées en deux dimensions dans la direction horizontale et la direction verticale, pour émettre des signaux de données pondérés pour chaque antenne, et utilise une pluralité de premières antennes (113) alignées dans la direction horizontale pour émettre les premiers signaux de référence qui sont propres à des stations mobiles (120) et qui ont été pondérés de façon à correspondre aux signaux de données. La station de base (110) utilise une pluralité de secondes antennes (114) alignées dans la direction verticale dans une position correspondant à l’une de la pluralité de premières antennes (113), pour émettre, sans effectuer de pondération pour chaque antenne, un second signal de référence commun à chacune des stations mobiles (120).
