Abstract
(EN) Apparatus, systems, and methods are provided for substantially continuous biometric identification (CBID) of an individual using eye signals in real time. The apparatus is included within a wearable computing device with identification of the device wearer based on iris recognition within one or more cameras directed at one or both eyes, and/or other physiological, anatomical and/or behavioral measures. Verification of device user identity can be used to enable or disable the display of secure information. Identity verification can also be included within information that is transmitted from the device in order to determine appropriate security measures by remote processing units. The apparatus may be incorporated within wearable computing that performs other functions including vision correction, head-mounted display, viewing the surrounding environment using scene camera(s), recording audio data via a microphone, and/or other sensing equipment.
(FR) L'invention concerne un appareil, des systèmes et des procédés pour exécuter une identification biométrique sensiblement continue (CBID) d'un individu en temps réel au moyen de signaux oculaires. L'appareil est inclus dans un dispositif informatique portable. Un utilisateur du dispositif peut être identifié par reconnaissance de l'iris à l'intérieur d'une ou plusieurs caméras dirigées vers un œil ou les deux yeux, et/ou d'autres mesures comportementales, physiologiques et/ou anatomiques. La vérification d'identité utilisateur du dispositif peut être utilisé pour activer ou désactiver le dispositif d'affichage d'informations sécurisées. Une vérification d'identité peut également être incluse dans des informations qui sont transmises à partir du dispositif afin de déterminer des mesures de sécurité appropriées par des unités de traitement à distance. L'appareil peut être incorporé dans un dispositif informatique portable qui exécute d'autres fonctions, notamment la correction de vision, un visiocasque, la visualisation de l'environnement au moyen d'une ou plusieurs caméras d'une scène, l'enregistrement de données audio via un microphone, et/ou un autre équipement de détection.
