Abstract
(EN) Disclosed axe methods and compositions for increasing the triacylglycerol content of a cell by increasing the activity of a type I diacylglycerol acyltransferase (i.e., DGA2) and increasing the activity of a type 2 diacylglycerol acyltransferase (i.e., DGA.1 ), In some embodiments, the triacylglycerol content of a cell is also modified my decreasing the activity of a triacylglycerol lipase in the same cell. Also disclosed are methods and compositions for increasing the triacylglycerol content of a cell by increasing the activity of a type 1 diacylglycerol acyltransferase (i.e., DGA2), or by increasing the activity of a type 3 diacylglycerol acyltransferase (i.e., DGA3).
(FR) La présente invention concerne des procédés et des compositions permettant d'augmenter la teneur en triacylglycérol d'une cellule par augmentation de l'activité d'une diacylglycérol acyltransférase de type I (c'est-à-dire la DGA2) et par augmentation de l'activité d'une diacylglycérol acyltransférase de type 2 (c'est-à-dire la DGA.1). Dans certains modes de réalisation, la teneur en triacylglycérol d'une cellule est également modifiée par la diminution de l'activité d'une triacylglycérol lipase dans la même cellule.
