Abstract

A method of color halftone processing is disclosed. A plurality of color mappings each provide a mapping from a color value in a color space to a set of Neugebauer Primary area coverage (NPac) values in an NPac space. An imaging metric is obtained for each NPac value in the set. An NPac value in the set is selected based on the imaging metric. The selected NPac value is used as an output NPac value in a combined color mapping for the color value.

L’invention concerne un procédé de traitement de demi-teinte de couleur. Une pluralité de mappages de couleurs fournissent chacun un mappage d’une valeur de couleur dans un espace couleur à un ensemble de valeurs de couverture de zone primaire de Neugebauer (NPac) dans un espace de NPac. Une métrique d’imagerie est obtenue pour chaque valeur de NPac dans l’ensemble. Une valeur de NPac dans l’ensemble est sélectionnée sur la base de la métrique d’imagerie. La valeur de NPac sélectionnée est utilisée comme valeur de NPac de sortie dans un mappage de couleurs combinées pour la valeur de couleur.
