Abstract
(EN) A laser projection system having built-in safety systems is disclosed. Further disclosed is a method of operating a laser projection system such that safe operation is a factor only of meeting a threshold distance between the laser unit and an audience member. To accomplish safe operation at the threshold distance, the laser projection system is pre-calibrated to operate below maximum permitted exposure levels at the threshold distance. In this manner of operation, laser lighting can be accomplished by non-laser professionals without the complexity, external sensors, and need for calibration at the venue.
(FR) L'invention porte sur un système de projection laser ayant des systèmes de sécurité intégrés. L'invention porte en outre sur un procédé de fonctionnement d'un système de projection laser de telle sorte qu'un fonctionnement sûr est uniquement fonction du respect d'une distance seuil entre l'unité laser et un membre de l'audience. Pour accomplir un fonctionnement sûr à la distance seuil, le système de projection laser est pré-étalonné de façon à fonctionner sous des niveaux d'exposition autorisés maximaux à la distance seuil. Dans cette manière de fonctionnement, un éclairage laser peut être accompli par des non-professionnels du laser en sans la complexité, les capteurs externes, et le besoin d'étalonnage au niveau du site.
