Abstract
(EN) A method and apparatus for invoking a High Dynamic Range ("HDR") mode in a camera are disclosed. The method comprises detecting that the camera is operating in a preview mode. The method further comprises determining a dynamic range, Auto Exposure ("AE") metadata, and a motion level associated with a plurality of frames captured in the preview mode. Finally, the method comprises invoking the HDR mode when each of the determined dynamic range, the AE metadata, and the motion level is above a first threshold value, a second threshold value, and a third threshold value, respectively.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un procédé et un appareil pour appeler un mode "HDR" (High Dynamic Range) dans une caméra. Le procédé comprend la détection du fait que la caméra fonctionne ou non dans un mode de prévisualisation. Le procédé comprend en outre la détermination d'une plage dynamique, de métadonnées d'exposition automatique ("AE"), et d'un niveau de mouvement associés à une pluralité de trames capturées dans le mode de prévisualisation. Finalement, le procédé comprend l'appel du mode HDR lorsque chacun de la plage dynamique, des métadonnées AE, et du niveau de mouvement déterminés est au-dessus d'une première valeur de seuil, une deuxième valeur de seuil, et une troisième valeur de seuil, respectivement.
