Abstract
(EN) A process of generating a glycerol ether is provided. The process includes reacting isobutylene with an alcohol to obtain a tertiary alkyl ether through an etherification reaction and generating a glycerol ether from the tertiary alkyl ether and glycerol through a transetherification reaction, A system for generating a glycerol ether is also provided.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un procédé de production d'un éther de glycérol. Le procédé comprend les étapes consistant à faire réagir de l'isobutylène avec un alcool pour obtenir un éther alkylique tertiaire par une réaction d'éthérification, puis à produire un éther de glycérol à partir de l'éther alkylique tertiaire et de glycérol par une réaction de transéthérification. L'invention concerne également un système de production d'un éther de glycérol.
