Abstract
(EN) A toroidal type continuously variable transmission comprises an integrated output side disk (36) for which a pair of output side disks are integrated in a situation where the back faces of the pair of output side disks are mutually joined and that is an output gear provided with a tooth (41) on the outer circumference face of the integrated output side disk. A projection (42) with a width of approximately half the width of the tooth (41) is formed on the distal end face of the tooth (41). A reference face (44) for traction face processing that is performed on an interior face (3a, 3a) of the integrated output side disk (35) and the like is formed on the distal edge of the projection (42). Thus, damage to a cutting edge of a tool for machining, such as a tip mounted to a lathe tool bit, can be controlled during processing to form the reference face (44) for machining, such as traction face machining on an outer circumferential face on which gear teeth are formed, the gear teeth being on a gear disk formed by integrating a gear and a disk.
