Abstract
(EN) A battery system for use with outdoor power equipment includes a base including a positive terminal, a negative terminal, and a battery receptacle electrically coupled to the positive terminal and the negative terminal, wherein the positive terminal and the negative terminal are spaced apart by a distance substantially the same as a standard distance between terminals of a standard lead-acid battery, and a lithium-ion battery removably attached to the battery receptacle, wherein when attached, the lithium-ion battery is electrically coupled to the positive terminal and the negative terminal via the battery receptacle.
(FR) L'invention porte sur un système de batterie destiné à être utilisé avec un équipement d'alimentation extérieur, qui comporte une base comportant une borne positive, une borne négative et un réceptacle de batterie couplé électriquement à la borne positive et à la borne négative, la borne positive et la borne négative étant espacées d'une distance sensiblement la même qu'une distance standard entre des bornes d'une batterie d'accumulateurs au plomb standard, et une batterie au lithium-ion fixée amovible au réceptacle de batterie, dans laquelle lorsqu'elle est fixée, la batterie au lithium-ion est couplée électriquement à la borne positive et à la borne négative par l'intermédiaire du réceptacle de batterie.
