Abstract
(EN) In one aspect, the present disclosure provides a method for self-assembly of magnetic building blocks, including distributing a plurality of building blocks in a liquid medium, each of the plurality of building blocks having a plurality of stable radicals, establishing a magnetic field interacting with at least a portion of the plurality of building blocks, guiding with the magnetic field the portion of the plurality of building blocks from a first location in the liquid medium to a second location in the liquid medium, assembling into a first construct the portion of the plurality of building blocks proximate the second location, and treating the first construct with at least one antioxidant to neutralize at least in part the plurality of stable radicals.
(FR) Dans un aspect, la présente invention concerne un procédé d'auto-assemblage de blocs de construction magnétiques, comprenant la distribution d'une pluralité de blocs de construction dans un milieu liquide, chacun de la pluralité de blocs de construction ayant une pluralité de radicaux stables, l'établissement d'un champ magnétique interagissant avec au moins une portion de la pluralité de blocs de construction, le guidage, à l'aide du champ magnétique, de la portion de la pluralité de blocs de construction, d'un premier emplacement dans le milieu liquide à un deuxième emplacement dans le milieu liquide, l'assemblage en une première construction de la portion de la pluralité de blocs de construction située au voisinage du deuxième emplacement, et le traitement de la première construction avec au moins un antioxydant pour neutraliser au moins en partie la pluralité de radicaux stables.
