(EN)An LED circuit including a protection against surge currents as well as a corresponding LED panel are described. The LED circuit (1) comprises a multiple number of LED arrangements (2) connected in series at interconnection terminals (3) on a circuit board (4), wherein each LED arrangement (2) comprises at least two LEDs (5) connected in series. Additionally, an electrical discharge path (6) is arranged in parallel to the series connection of LED arrangements (2). To protect the LEDs (5) in the LED circuit (1) from current surges, in particular reverse surge currents, a surge protection component (7) is arranged between each interconnection terminal (3) and the discharge path (6), whereas the connection between at least two LEDs (5) of each LED arrangement (2) is isolated from the discharge path (7). The LED circuit as well as the LED panel provide a protection of the LEDs against current surges.
(FR)Cette invention concerne un circuit de DEL comprenant une protection contre des courants de surtension ainsi qu'un panneau de DEL correspondant. Ledit circuit de DEL (1) comprend une pluralité d'agencements de DEL (2) connectés en série à des bornes d'interconnexion (3) sur une carte de circuit imprimé (4), chaque agencement de DEL (2) comprenant au moins deux DEL (5) connectées en série. De plus, un trajet de décharge électrique (6) est agencé en parallèle à la connexion série des agencements de DEL (2). Afin de protéger les DEL (5) dans le circuit de DEL (1) contre les surtensions, en particulier contre les surtensions inverses, un composant de protection contre les surtensions (7) est agencé entre chaque terminal d'interconnexion (3) et le trajet de décharge (6), tandis que la connexion entre au moins deux DEL (5) de chaque agencement de DEL (2) est isolée par rapport au trajet de décharge (7). Le circuit de LED et le panneau de DEL selon l'invention assurent une protection des DEL contre les surtensions.
