Abstract:
A negative electrode active material for a lithium secondary battery, according to an embodiment of the present invention, is composed of an alloy including 40 to 70 at% of silicon (Si), copper (Cu), and aluminum (Al), the ratio of aluminum (Al) to copper (Cu) included in the alloy being substantially 10:90 to 30:70, wherein the alloy further includes iron (Fe), and further includes zirconium (Zr) or titanium (Ti).
