Abstract:
(EN) An information processing apparatus, for recording data in a magnetic storage medium by a shingled magnetic recording, and a method of controlling this, when a rewrite of data stored in the magnetic storage medium is instructed, copy data of a zone in which rewrite target data is stored other than the rewrite target data into a vacant zone of the magnetic storage medium; store, to the vacant zone into which the data is copied, the rewrite target data, delete by overwriting an entirety of the zone in which the rewrite target data is stored with predetermined data, and register the overwritten zone as an unused area.
(FR) L'invention concerne un appareil de traitement d'informations servant à enregistrer des données dans un support de stockage magnétique par enregistrement magnétique superposé, et un procédé de commande dudit appareil. Lors d'une instruction de réécriture de données stockées dans le support de stockage magnétique, les données autres que les données à réécrire d'une zone dans laquelle sont stockées les données à réécrire sont copiées dans une zone vacante du support de stockage magnétique ; les données à réécrire sont stockées dans la zone dans laquelle les données sont copiées : la totalité de la zone dans laquelle les données sont stockées est effacée par écrasement par des données prédéterminées ; et la zone écrasée est enregistrée en tant que zone non utilisée.
