(EN)Provided are: a living radical polymerization catalyst with which further improvements to safety and cost are exhibited, and which is applicable to various vinyl monomers; and a polymer production method using said living radical polymerization catalyst. This living radical polymerization catalyst includes at least one compound selected from the group consisting of halogenated alkali metal compounds and halogenated alkaline earth metal compounds.
(FR)Cette invention concerne : un catalyseur de polymérisation radicalaire vivante qui permet d'obtenir des améliorations supplémentaires en termes de sécurité et de coût, et qui peut être appliqué à divers monomères de vinyle; et un procédé de production de polymères utilisant ledit catalyseur de polymérisation radicalaire vivante. Le catalyseur de polymérisation radicalaire vivante selon l'invention contient au moins un composé choisi dans le groupe constitué par les composés de métal alcalin halogénés et les composés de métal alcalino-terreux halogénés.
