Title: TIRE INNER SURFACE IMAGING METHOD AND DEVICE
Abstract:
When a tire inner surface is imaged, in a state in which a portion of an imaging device, which is provided with a light source, mirror, and camera and is configured such that the mirror rotates around an axis of rotation while the orientation of the surface of the mirror changes, is inserted into an opening of a tire, the mirror is caused to rotate around the axis of rotation so as to become inserted into a tire cavity region and set in an imaging position. Thereafter, slit light irradiates the inner surface of the tire tread and scans the tread inner surface. During scanning by the slit light, a line irradiation region of the tread inner surface formed through the irradiation of the slit light is imaged, via the mirror, by the camera from a direction tilted with respect to the tire circumferential direction, and image data is output. When the mirror is inserted into the tire cavity region, the rotation amount around the axis of rotation is set according to the outer diameter of the tire so that the tilt angle of the imaging of the camera is within an acceptable range.
