Abstract:
(EN) Start-up fuse for aluminium reduction electrolysis cell use (3) for bridging the gap (8) between an upstream cathode busbar (1) and a downstream cathode busbar (2) in an electrolysis plant, said fuse (3) comprises a metallic band-shaped body comprising a. two contact surfaces (19a,19b) for contacting respectively a surface of said upstream cathode busbar (1) and a surface of said downstream cathode busbar (2), b. two main sections (4a,4b) respectively adjacent to said contact surfaces (19a, 19b), c. a central section (5) adjacent to said main sections (4a,4b), wherein said central section (5) has a transverse cross section having a surface area that is smaller than the surface area of any transverse cross section of said main section (4).
(FR) La présente invention concerne un fusible de démarrage pour cellule d'électrolyse de réduction d'aluminium utilisé (3) pour combler l'intervalle (8) entre une barre omnibus de cathode amont (1) et une barre omnibus de cathode aval (2) dans une usine d'électrolyse, ledit fusible (3) comprenant a. un corps en forme de bande métallique comprenant deux surfaces de contact (19a,19b) pour mettre en contact respectivement une surface de ladite barre omnibus de cathode amont (1) et une surface de ladite barre omnibus de cathode aval (2), b. deux sections principales (4a,4b) respectivement adjacentes auxdites surfaces de contact (19a, 19b), c. une section centrale (5) adjacente auxdites sections principales (4a,4b), où ladite section centrale (5) présente une section transversale ayant une surface plus petite que la surface de n’importe quelle section transversale de ladite section principale (4).
