(EN)The invention relates to a process for preparing a pre-impregnated fibrous material, in particular in strip form, comprising a fibrous reinforcement and a thermoplastic polymer matrix comprising the following step: i) impregnating said fibrous material in the form of a single roving or of a plurality of parallel rovings with said polymer in the melt state, said polymer in the melt state containing, during said impregnation, an inert gas in the supercritical state, used as processing agent that aids processing by reducing the melt viscosity, said gas preferably being supercritical CO2.
(FR)L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'un matériau fibreux pré-imprégné, en particulier sous forme de ruban, comprenant un renfort fibreux et une matrice de polymère thermoplastique comprenant l'étape suivante : • i) imprégnation dudit matériau fibreux sous forme d'une mèche unique ou de plusieurs mèches parallèles par ledit polymère à l'état fondu ledit polymère à l'état fondu contenant lors de ladite imprégnation un gaz neutre à l'état supercritique, utilisé comme agent d'aide à la mise en oeuvre par réduction de viscosité à l'état fondu, de préférence ledit gaz étant le C02 supercritique.
