(EN)The present disclosure provides a photovoltaic device comprising a copper-based light-absorbing material and a first material electrically coupled to the light-absorbing material and forming a p-n junction with the light- absorbing material. The device further comprises an intermediate material arranged between the first material and the light-absorbing material. The intermediate material acts to reduce the minority carrier recombination rate at the region between the light-absorbing material and the first material and/or optimise the electronic band alignment in the photovoltaic device.
(FR)La présente invention concerne un dispositif photovoltaïque comprenant un matériau absorbant la lumière à base de cuivre et un premier matériau électriquement couplé au matériau absorbant la lumière et formant une jonction p-n avec le matériau absorbant la lumière. Le dispositif comprend en outre un matériau intermédiaire disposé entre le premier matériau et le matériau absorbant la lumière. Le matériau intermédiaire sert à réduire le taux de recombinaison de porteurs minoritaires au niveau de la région comprise entre le matériau absorbant la lumière et le premier matériau, et/ou à optimiser l'alignement de bande électronique dans le dispositif photovoltaïque.
