(EN)A sample detection plate (10) according to the disclosure of the present invention comprises: a first substrate (1) having a first surface (1A); and a sample holding unit (2) that is disposed on the first surface (1A) of the first substrate (1) so as to hold therein a sample (3) which absorbs electromagnetic waves (8) of a prescribed wavelength. The first substrate (1) contains a first material that emits autofluorescence (9A) due to the electromagnetic waves (8) of a prescribed wavelength.
