Abstract:
An ejector is provided with: a body (200) having a swirl space (221), etc. formed therein, the swirl space (221), etc. swirling a high-pressure refrigerant having flowed therein from a refrigerant inlet opening (211); a passage forming member (240) for forming a nozzle passage (224) and a diffuser passage (232a) within the body (200); and an annular diaphragm (251) disposed within the body (200) so as to surround the passage forming member (240) and connected to the passage forming member (240). The inner peripheral edge and outer peripheral edge of the diaphragm (251) are gripped and held by holding sections (230, 252b). The diaphragm (251) has a configuration formed by integrating a rubber body which consists of a rubber material and a barrier diaphragm which has a lower permeability for a temperature-sensitive refrigerant than the rubber body. In the configuration, the portions of the barrier diaphragm, which constitute the inner peripheral edge and outer peripheral edge of the diaphragm, are arranged closer to a space in which the temperature-sensitive refrigerant is enclosed than the portion of the barrier diaphragm, which is located in a pressure receiving section between the inner peripheral edge and outer peripheral edge of the diaphragm. As a result, the permeation of the temperature-sensitive refrigerant through the inner peripheral edge and outer peripheral edge of the diaphragm can be reduced.
