Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a novel negative electrode active material coating material that has little irreversible capacity and does not increase resistance even when coated by a polymer. This invention is characterized by being a negative electrode active material coating material for lithium ion secondary batteries and indicated by formula (1) or formula (2). In formula (1), x, y, m, and n are abundance ratios for each segment. x is 1-12, m is 0-5, and n is 1-6. The X in formula (1) is hydrogen, an alkali metal, or an alkali earth metal. In formula (2), x and y are the abundance ratios for each segment and x is 1-12. The X in formula (2) is hydrogen, an alkali metal, or an alkali earth metal.
