(EN)A method for operating a transmitter in a wireless communication network is provided. The method includes beamforming in a frequency-domain by converting K data streams into M output streams, generating M orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) signals by transforming the M output streams into the M OFDM signals, beamforming in time-domain by converting the M OFDM signals into N signals, and, transmitting the N signals that together form broadcast beams and user-specific beams.
(FR)L'invention concerne un procédé d'exploitation d'un émetteur dans un réseau de communications sans fil. Le procédé comprend les étapes consistant à former des faisceaux dans un domaine fréquentiel en convertissant K flux de données en M flux de sortie, à générer M signaux de multiplexage par répartition orthogonale en fréquence (MROF) en transformant les M flux de sortie en les M signaux MROF, à former des faisceaux dans un domaine temporel en convertissant les M signaux MROF en N signaux, et à émettre les N signaux qui forment ensemble des faisceaux de diffusion groupée et des faisceaux spécifiques à des utilisateurs.
