Abstract
(EN) A method of detecting the closure of a navigable element forming part of a network of navigable elements within a geographic area. A server obtains positional data relating to the movement of a plurality of devices along the navigable element with respect to time. The positional data is used to determine an elapsed time since a device was last detected on the navigable element, and the determined elapsed time is compared to an expected time interval between consecutive devices being detected on the navigable element. The navigable element is identified as being potentially closed, subject to one or more optional validation steps, when the determined elapsed time exceeds the expected time interval, e.g. by a predetermined amount.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un procédé de détection de la fermeture d'un élément navigable faisant partie d'un réseau d'éléments navigables à l'intérieur d'une zone géographique. Un serveur obtient des données de position concernant le déplacement d'une pluralité de dispositifs le long de l'élément navigable dans le temps. Les données de position sont utilisées pour déterminer un temps écoulé depuis qu'un dispositif a été détecté pour la dernière fois sur l'élément navigable, et le temps écoulé déterminé est comparé à un intervalle de temps prévu entre la détection de dispositifs consécutifs sur l'élément navigable. L'élément navigable est identifié comme étant potentiellement fermé, ladite identification étant soumise à une ou plusieurs étapes de validation facultatives, lorsque le temps écoulé déterminé dépasse l'intervalle de temps prévu, par exemple, d'une quantité prédéfinie.
