Techniques related to integral image coding are described herein. By the disclosure described herein, a compression scheme with a data packing layout may use less cachelines, or portion of a cacheline, than that used to place an integral image with all of its integral image sums into cachelines. This is accomplished for a block of integral image data by using a compression scheme or technique for one or more cachelines that transmits and stores less than all of the integral image sums of an integral images.

L'invention concerne des procédés de codage d'image intégral. Selon l'invention, un schéma de compression avec une configuration d'empaquetage de données peut utiliser moins de lignes de cache (ou une partie d'une ligne de cache) que l'on n'en utilise pour placer une image intégrale avec toutes ses sommes d'images intégrales dans des lignes de cache. Ceci est accompli pour un bloc de données d'image intégrale, au moyen d'un schéma ou d'un procédé de compression d'une ou plusieurs lignes de cache qui transmet et stocke moins que la totalité des sommes d'images intégrales d'images intégrales.
