Abstract
(EN) A device is provided for placing one or more sensors along the inside surface of a tire. The device can accommodate tires of different shapes and sizes as well as projecting features along the inside surface of the tire. In one embodiment, sensors can be inserted into the interior of the tire and simultaneously deployed along the inside surface of both sidewalls. This embodiment of the device allows for repeated insertion and withdrawal of the sensors over a range of tire sizes so as to automate steps in the inspection process.
(FR) L'invention concerne un dispositif pour positionner un ou plusieurs capteurs le long de la surface intérieure d'un pneu. Le dispositif peut s'adapter à des pneus de différentes formes et tailles ainsi qu'aux caractéristiques faisant saillie le long de la surface intérieure du pneu. Dans un mode de réalisation, les capteurs peuvent être insérés à l'intérieur du pneu et déployés simultanément le long de la surface intérieure sur les deux parois latérales. Ce mode de réalisation du dispositif permet une répétition de l'insertion et du retrait des capteurs sur une gamme de tailles de pneu, de manière à automatiser des étapes dans le processus d'inspection.
