Abstract

A disclosed turbine vane assembly for a gas turbine engine includes an airfoil including a pressure side and a suction side that extends from a leading edge toward a trailing edge. The airfoil is rotatable about an axis transverse to an engine longitudinal axis and includes a forward chamber within the airfoil and in communication with a cooling air source, a forward impingement baffle defining a pre-impingement cavity within the forward chamber. The pre-impingement cavity is split into a leading edge cavity, pressure side cavity and a suction side cavity defined between an inner surface of the forward chamber and an outer surface of the forward impingement baffle.

La présente invention concerne un ensemble ailette de turbine destiné à un moteur à turbine à gaz qui comprend un profil aérodynamique comprenant un côté de pression et un côté d'aspiration qui s'étendent d'un bord d'attaque vers un bord de fuite. Le profil aérodynamique est rotatif autour d'un axe transversal à un axe longitudinal du moteur et comprend une chambre avant à l'intérieur du profil aérodynamique et en communication avec une source d'air de refroidissement, un déflecteur d'impact avant définissant une cavité de préimpact à l'intérieur de la chambre avant. La cavité de préimpact est séparée entre une cavité de bord d'attaque, une cavité côté pression et une cavité côté aspiration définies entre une surface intérieure de la chambre avant et une surface extérieure du déflecteur d'impact avant.
