The current technology relates to mining processes and compositions which inhibit the growth of complex scale. More specifically it relates to a process for preventing/inhibiting and/or controlling gypsum scale in aqueous mineral ore slurries, and for inhibiting scale in relatively high solids content environments in industrial mining operations.

La présente invention porte sur des procédés miniers et des compositions minières qui inhibent le développement d'un dépôt complexe. Plus précisément, l'invention porte sur un procédé permettant d'empêcher/inhiber et/ou limiter le dépôt de gypse dans des pulpes aqueuses de minerai minéral et permettant d'inhiber le dépôt dans des environnements à teneur en matières solides relativement élevée dans des opérations minières industrielles.
