Abstract:
(EN) A composition is disclosed that includes pure silk fibroin-based protein fragments that are substantially devoid of sericin, wherem the composition has an average weight average molecular weight ranging from about 17 kDa to about 38 kDa, wherein the composition has a polydispersity of between about 1.5 and about 3.0, wherein the composition is substantially homogeneous, wherem the composition between 0 ppm to about 500 ppm of inorganic residuals, and wherein the composition includes between 0 ppm to about 500 ppm of organic residuals.
(FR) Cette invention concerne une composition qui contient des fragments de protéines à base de fibroïne de pure soie qui sont sensiblement dépourvus de séricine, la composition ayant un poids moléculaire moyen en poids d'environ 17 à environ 38 kDa, et une polydispersité entre environ 1,5 et environ 3,0. La composition selon l'invention est sensiblement homogène, contient entre 0 et environ 500 ppm de résidus inorganiques, et entre 0 et 500 ppm de résidus organiques.
