Abstract:
(EN) Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide methods and apparatus for dynamically secondary cell (SCELL) allocation and frequency planning for carrier aggregation. One example system for radio frequency (RF) signal processing, generally includes a first integrated circuit (IC) comprising two or more receive chains, each receive chain for processing one of multiple component carriers in a carrier aggregation (CA) signal, wherein the first IC is configured to downconvert a signal associated with a primary cell of the CA signal; and a second IC configured to downconvert one or more signals associated with one or more secondary cells of the CA signal. The second IC may also be configured to upconvert a signal having a frequency different than the primary cell by an offset associated with the primary cell.
(FR) Certains aspects de la présente invention concernent des procédés et un appareil destinés à l'affectation dynamique d'une cellule secondaire (SCELL) et à la planification des fréquences pour l'agrégation de porteuses. Un système illustratif conçu pour le traitement de signaux radioélectriques (RF) comprend globalement : un premier circuit intégré (IC) comportant au minimum deux chaînes de réception, chaque chaîne de réception servant à traiter une porteuse composante parmi plusieurs porteuses composantes (CC) dans un signal d'agrégation de porteuses (CA), ce premier IC étant destiné à abaisser la fréquence d'un signal associé à une cellule primaire du signal CA ; et un second IC permettant d'abaisser la fréquence d'un ou plusieurs signaux associés à une ou plusieurs cellules secondaires du signal CA. Le second IC peut également servir à élever la fréquence d'un signal ayant une fréquence différente de celle de la cellule primaire selon un décalage associé à la cellule primaire.
