Abstract:
(EN) This invention relates to self-cross-linkable and self-cross-linked aromatic polyimide polymers, their membranes and methods for making and using these polymers and membranes. The self-cross-linkable aromatic polyimide polymer described in the present invention comprises both hydroxyl functional groups and carboxylic acid functional groups. The self-cross-linked aromatic polyimide was formed via heating the self-cross-linkable aromatic polyimide polymer at ≤ 300°C. The self-cross-linked aromatic polyimide membranes exhibit high selectivity in separation of mixtures of gases and liquids.
(FR) La présente invention concerne des polymères polyimide aromatiques auto-réticulables et auto-réticulées, leurs membranes et des procédés pour la préparation et l'utilisation de ces polymères et de ces membranes. Le polymère polyimide aromatique auto-réticulable décrit dans la présente invention comprend à la fois des groupes fonctionnels hydroxyle et des groupes fonctionnels acide carboxylique. Le polyimide aromatique auto-réticulé est formé par chauffage du polymère polyimide aromatique auto-réticulable à une température inférieure ou égale à 300 °C. Les membranes polyimide aromatiques auto-réticulées présentent une sélectivité élevée dans la séparation de mélanges de gaz et de liquides.
