Abstract:
(EN) A system and method for enhanced cell detection by a User Equipment (UE) is provided. The UE includes a transceiver configured to receive a discovery reference signal (DRS) occasion from at least one transmission point. The DRS occasion comprising a set of consecutive DRS sub-frames. The UE also includes processing circuitry configured to: in response to detecting a physical cell identity (PCID) of a Primary Synchronization Signal (PSS)/ Secondary Synchronization Signal (SSS)/ Common Reference Signal (CRS) that is the same as a reference PCID for a configured Channel State Information Reference Signal (CSI-RS) resource, the processing circuitry attempts to detect or measure the CSI-RS using the timing obtained from the PSS/SSS/CRS; and in response to not detecting a PCID of PSS/SSS/CRS that is the same as the reference PCID for a configured CSI-RS resource (TP), the processing circuitry does not attempt to detect or measure the CSI-RS.
(FR) L'invention concerne un système et un procédé d'amélioration de détection de cellule par un équipement d'utilisateur (UE). L'UE comprend un émetteur-récepteur configuré pour recevoir une opportunité de signal de référence de recherche (DRS), d'au moins un point de transmission. L'opportunité de DRS comprend un ensemble de sous-trames DRS consécutives. L'UE comprend également des circuits de traitement configurés pour : en réponse à la détection d'un identifiant de cellule physique (PCID) d'un signal de synchronisation primaire (PSS)/signal de synchronisation secondaire (SSS)/signal de référence commun (CRS) identique à un PCID de référence d'une ressource de signal de référence d'informations d'état de canal (CSI-RS) configurée, tenter de détecter ou de mesurer le CSI-RS au moyen du temps obtenu à partir du PSS/SSS/CRS; et, en réponse à la non-détection d'un PCID de PSS/SSS/CRS identique au PCID d'une ressource CSI-RS configurée (TP), ne pas tenter de détecter ou de mesurer le CSI-RS.
