Title: STARTUP CONTROL DEVICE AND STARTUP CONTROL METHOD FOR HYBRID VEHICLE
Abstract:
 A normally-open clutch coupled by hydraulic oil supply is interposed between an engine and a motor generator. When a vehicle start-up request is detected, any vehicle start-up mode from among a first vehicle start-up mode (M1) in which a vehicle is enabled to travel by a travel motor, a second vehicle start-up mode (M2) in which a clutch is coupled and an engine is started up to enable the vehicle to travel by the travel motor, and a third vehicle start-up mode (M3) in which the engine is started up by a starter and then the clutch is coupled to enable the vehicle to travel is selected on the basis of vehicle temperature and battery output. During low temperatures at which the viscosity of the working oil increases, the second vehicle start-up mode (M2) is selected and the clutch is coupled to start up the engine before vehicle start-up is complete.
