Abstract:
Provided are a lithium-ion battery and a method for manufacturing lithium metal alloy. The lithium-ion battery comprises a reactor (3), a microporous separation plate (9), a positive electrode storage tank (1), a positive electrode reaction liquid, a positive electrode liquid pump (4), a negative electrode storage tank (2), a negative electrode reaction liquid, and a negative electrode liquid pump (12). The reactor (3) is a sealed inner chamber. The microporous separation plate (9) divides the reactor (3) into a positive electrode chamber (10) and a negative electrode chamber (11). The positive electrode storage tank (1), the positive electrode liquid pump (4) and the positive electrode chamber (10) are connected through a liquid transmission pipe to form a positive electrode loop, and the positive electrode reaction liquid flows in the positive electrode loop; and the negative electrode storage tank (2), the negative electrode liquid pump (12) and the negative electrode chamber (11) are connected through a liquid transmission pipe to form a negative electrode loop, and the negative electrode reaction liquid flows in the negative electrode loop. The positive electrode reaction liquid and the negative electrode reaction liquid participate in a reaction to generate energy, and the negative electrode reaction liquid comprises liquid lithium metal alloy. The lithium-ion battery avoids that a sodium sulfur battery heats a battery system, thereby improving the security and reducing the cost; the lithium-ion battery also has characteristics of high energy density, high power density, low cost and low pollution of a flow battery.
