Title: WAVELENGTH SELECTIVE SWITCH AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING SPATIAL PHASE MODULATOR IN WAVELENGTH SELECTIVE SWITCH
Abstract:
Disclosed are a wavelength selective switch and a method for controlling a spatial phase modulator in the wavelength selective switch. The wavelength selective switch comprises: a first wave splitting and wave combining component, which is used for splitting a multi-wavelength optical signal that is input into multiple single-wavelength optical signals spatially; the spatial phase modulator, which is used for changing a transmission direction of each single-wavelength optical signal contained in the multiple single-wavelength optical signals respectively, wherein, the spatial phase modulator is also used for splitting a first single-wavelength optical signal in the multiple single-wavelength optical signals into a first optical beam and a second optical beam, the first optical beam is incident on an output end of the wavelength selective switch, and the second optical beam is incident on a monitoring end of the wavelength selective switch; a photoelectric detector, which is arranged on the monitoring end and is used for receiving the second optical beam; and a performance monitoring component, which is used for performing performance monitoring on the second optical beam that is received. The wavelength selective switch and the method in embodiments of the present invention can perform performance monitoring on a single-wavelength optical signal and reduce a system volume and a cost.
