Title (EN) INTEGRIN-MODULATING THERAPIES FOR TREATING FIBROTIC DISEASE
(FR) THÉRAPIES DE MODULATION DE DE L'EXPRESSION DE L'INTÉGRINE POUR LE TRAITEMENT DE MALADIE FIBROGÈNE
Abstract: front page image
(EN)A method of treating scleroderma and other fibrotic conditions is disclosed. The method includes the step of administering to a subject having a fibrotic condition an effective amount of an agent capable of modulating the activity of one or more integrins. The integrin activity-modulating agent alters cell-matrix interactions, thus reducing the symptoms of the fibrotic condition.
