(EN)The purpose of the present invention is to provide the following: a fiber-reinforced composite material comprising a matrix material and fibers, wherein high strength and high thermal conductivity are both achieved; a structure and brake pad using such a fiber-reinforced composite material; and fibers for realizing such a fiber-reinforced composite material. This fiber-reinforced composite material is characterized by comprising a matrix material and fibers, the fibers having rods of a metal oxide at the surface thereof, and the rate of fixation of the metal oxide to the fibers as defined in (formula 1) being 45 to 95%.
(FR)L'invention concerne : un matériau composite renforcé de fibres comprenant un matériau de matrice et des fibres et doté d'une résistance et d'une conductivité thermique élevées ; une structure et une plaquette de frein mettant en oeuvre ce matériau composite renforcé de fibres ; et des fibres permettant d'obtenir ledit matériau. Le matériau composite renforcé de fibres selon l'invention se caractérise en ce qu'il contient un matériau de matrice et des fibres, les fibres comportant des baguettes d'un oxyde métallique sur leur surface, et en ce que le taux de fixation de l'oxyde métallique sur les fibres, tel que défini dans la formule 1, est compris entre 45 et 95%.
