Abstract
(EN)
A method for exposing a substrate to water under superatmospheric pressure at a temperature of at least 70°C includes (a) applying a reaction mixture to a substrate, which reaction mixture has an isocyanate index of at least 10 and includes an aromatic polyisocyanate component, a polyol component having a polyol with a hydroxyl equivalent weight of at least 500, and a catalyst component having an isocyanate trimerization catalyst, and at least partially curing the reaction mixture to form a polyisocyanurate or polyurethane-isocyanurate polymer having a glass transition temperature of at least 80°C, and (b) exposing the substrate and the polyisocyanurate or polyurethane-isocyanurate polymer to water under superatmospheric pressure at a temperature of at least 70°C.

Cette invention concerne un procédé d'exposition d'un substrat à une eau à une pression supérieure à la pression atmosphérique et à une température d'au moins 70°C comprenant (a) l'application d'un mélange réactionnel à un substrat, ledit mélange réactionnel ayant un indice d'isocyanate d'au moins 10 et comprenant un composant de polyisocyanate aromatique, un composant de polyol comprenant un polyol ayant un poids équivalent d'hydroxyle d'au moins 500, et un composant de catalyseur comprenant un catalyseur de trimérisation de type isocyanate, et le durcissement au moins partiel du mélange réactionnel pour former un polyisocyanurate ou un polymère de polyuréthane-isocyanurate ayant une température de transition vitreuse d'au moins 80°C, et (b) l'exposition du substrat et du polyisocyanurate ou du polymère de polyuréthane-isocyanurate à une eau à une pression supérieure à la pression atmosphérique à une température d'au moins 70°C.
