Abstract:
(EN) A system for facilitating fluid connection between cannulae and a blood pump. The system includes a cannula (50) having proximal and distal ends (56, 58). The distal end (58) of the cannula (50) adapted to be in fluid communication with the circulatory system. The proximal end (56) of the cannula (50) is configured to couple to an inlet (82) of the blood pump (54). The system further includes a tunneling device (84) configured to be inserted into a body of a patient to direct the proximal end (56) of the cannula (50) adjacent to the inlet (82) for connection thereto. The cannula (50) further includes a first connecting structure (90). The tunneling device (84) further includes a second connecting structure (92). The first and second connecting structures (90, 92) are selectively engageable to allow connection and disconnection between the cannula (50), and tunneling device (84).
(FR) L'invention concerne un système pour faciliter le raccordement fluidique entre une canule et une pompe d'assistance circulatoire. Le système comprend une canule (50) présentant une extrémité proximale et une extrémité distale (56, 58). L'extrémité distale (58) de la canule (50) est conçue pour être en communication fluidique avec le système circulatoire.
